Christina Perri - A Thousand Years

I absolutely LOVE this song by Christina Perri. It is the soundtrack for Twilight Breaking Dawn. I'm not a fan of the Twilight movies (a bit too mushy) but the novels are fine.

Okay, back to the song. Lovely, soothing song. I have listened to it countless of times, playing it on my hand phone and laptop. Happy to say that I'm still not tired of it :) It just brings forth a calming effect. Christina Perri has such an angelic and beautiful voice. I also like her other song Jar of Hearts.

All in all, she is definitely a singer who is worth listening to ^^

Song of the Moment - Iridescent

After watching Transformers: Dark of the Moon (love Bumblebee by the way), I couldn't help but be captivated by its theme song which was sung by Linkin Park. Yes people, I'm talking about Iridescent

I have always been fascinated by Chester's ability to scream as he sings. He does it so well! No doubt he is one talented guy. Mike Shinoda is awesome too :)

I'm not as crazy about them as I was before. But I do still listen to some of their songs. I particularly liked their song New Divide which was the soundtrack for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

In Iridescent, however, there's not much screaming involved. Instead, it is soothing and really quite wonderful. The music video is eerily fabulous as well. Joe Hahn did a fantastic job of directing this music video :)

Here's a picture of Mike Shinoda on the set of their Iridescent video:

He looks so freaking cool, no?

Song of the Moment - Who Says

I have been really loving Who Says by Selena Gomez and The Scene. I don't typically listen to her songs. But this particular song of hers stood out. Why? Well because it is inspiring! I have a soft spot for songs that encourage people :)

The lyrics are so meaningful and beautiful. What it is saying is that you should not let bullies define who you are. That you should have more faith in your own capabilities. Here's part of the chorus:

Who says
Who says you’re not perfect
Who says you’re not worth it
Who says you’re the only one that’s hurting
Trust me
That’s the price of beauty
Who says you’re not pretty
Who says you’re not beautiful
Who says

This cute and upbeat song definitely promotes self-worth. Love it!
